Wernick Buildings, part of The Wernick Group is seeking a Logistics Operative (Forklift & Crane Operator) to support production and logistics teams. The role focuses on safe movement of materials, JIT supply, and stock control within the factory programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, factory or material handling environments.
• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Valid forklift licence (counterbalance/reach).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and crane equipment safely and complete pre-use checks.
• Move, load, unload and position materials/buildings to support daily production.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and RAMS.
• Carry out material quality/state checks and report defects.
• Support Just in Time (JIT) material supply and stock control.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and storage efficiency.
• Stock counting.
• Communicate effectively with DC, Stores and production teams.
