The Opportunity

Delaware North UK is hiring a casual Logistics Porter at The London Stadium in Stratford. As Logistics Porter, you will support the physical aspect of stock management across all operations within the venue.

This role is offered on a casual worker agreement basis with most events taking place at weekends and/or in the evening.

Pay

The expected pay for this role is £15.52ph

What Will You Do?

• Work as part of a team to receive deliveries and distribute catering goods throughout the venue to the various catering kiosks, kitchens, and storerooms.
• Pouring alcohol.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and the checking of goods against delivery notes, ensuring that all products are received and that they are in the required condition.
• Following appropriate levels of training to ensure compliance with the accepted standards for receipt and storage of frozen, chilled, and ambient goods.
• Prepare internal stock transfers for onward distribution throughout the venue.
• Be familiar with the products sold within the stadium so the correct items arrive in the right locations.
• Assist with monthly stock takes.
• Organise and clean the storerooms.
• Highlight any issues that may affect the quality of goods to your team leader.
• Adhere to the Delaware North manual handling policy to ensure safe systems of working.
• Adhere to all Delaware North and statutory regulations pertaining to health safety, food hygiene standards, licensing requirements, COSHH, and fire safety.
