Job summary

A prestigious cricket venue is looking for a Logistics Porter to join its bar & waiting team for the busy cricket season. The role involves ensuring high presentation standards, completing room setups, and supporting the wider team. No experience is needed as full training will be provided. Qualifications

The Logistics Porter role involves:

  • Completing room setup & breakdown following the correct procedures
  • Stock count of uniform and light equipment
  • Attending briefings
  • Acting as an ambassador for the prestigious Lord's brand
  • Maintaining our high presentation standards
  • Adhering to uniform standards
  • Complying with Health and Safety procedures at all times
  • Supporting the wider team including kitchen porters

Additional Information

Zero-hours contract offering flexibility.

  • Due to the use of heavy machinery, applicants must be over the age of 18.
  • Comfortable to walk and stand during the shift and carry out frequent manual handling tasks.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible.
  • Good command of English with the ability to communicate confidently.
  • Honest, reliable, and hardworking.
  • Self-starter who has a committed work ethic.
  • Due to the nature of event & match days, weekend and evening work will be required.

Desired Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role or environment.
  • Basic COSHH qualification/knowledge.
  • Basic Food Hygiene knowledge including Food Hygiene Level 2.
