Job summary

Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain, in partnership with a UK wide gas distribution organisation, seeks a UK Logistics Planning Manager to lead the national planning function from Chesterfield Head Office.

You will oversee 16 depots, a fleet of 75 vehicles, and drive delivery of 145,000 tonnes annually while ensuring safety, efficiency and value across the network.

We're looking for an experienced UK Logistics Manager to lead our national logistics operation, ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective delivery of LPG across our UK depot network.

Reporting to the Head of Operations & Logistics, you'll lead a team of Five and oversee logistics across 16 depots, managing a fleet of 75 vehicles (including 3PL partners) and helping deliver 145,000 tonnes of product annually.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team.
• Manage 3PL partners to deliver excellent service, compliance and value.
• Use data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and reduce costs.
• Work closely with Operations, Supply, Sales and Customer Experience to improve service and efficiency.
• Contribute to network strategy and identify opportunities to enhance performance.

What we're looking for

• Proven logistics leadership experience within a multi-site operation.
• Strong knowledge of transport, fleet and depot operations.
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers.
• Commercial awareness with budget and cost management experience.
• A collaborative, hands-on leader who enjoys driving change and continuous improvement.
• Transport Manager CPC and S&OP experience are advantageous.
