Job summary

Right Now Recruitment is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a full-time, 12-month FTC. Office based – Cerney Wick. You will plan and schedule orders, manage the haulage fleet and ensure stock is available against forecasts.

You will liaise with customers and drivers, maintain data accuracy, and optimise routes for cost and efficiency. Maximo experience is a plus and a full UK driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail; previous order management experience beneficial.
• Experience in Logistics, Transport or Fleet Management.
• Experience in scheduling materials.
• Good geographical knowledge or scheduling/route planning experience.
• Full UK driving license (Essential)

Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling orders on the inhouse system and managing inventory using Maximo (IBM).
• Management and utilisation of the haulage fleet.
• Timely processing of customer orders against forecast usage, ensuring stock availability.
• Key point of contact for customers and drivers.
• Ensuring the integrity of our internal database to maintain accuracy on customer orders.
• Planning routes for the company fleet to optimise cost and efficiency.
• Monitoring transport progress and updating the client at milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensuring Goods-In receives correct quantities of ordered materials.
