A leading Defence organization is seeking a Logistics Planner/Equipment Management Planner in Samlesbury for a 12-month contract. The role involves conducting planning activities throughout the production lifecycle of products, requiring strong logistics planning skills, good communication, and proficiency in relevant IT systems. Applicants with professional accreditation in Logistics/Supply Chain are preferred and a comprehensive training opportunity will be provided.

As a Logistics Planner / Equipment Management Planner , you could be conducting planning activities across a wide range of products covering the production lifecycle of minor and major assemblies and delivery to customers. These tasks could range from assembly scheduling, load smoothing, progress monitoring and order book management.
Experience required:
A full suite of training and development opportunities will be provided where necessary.
The successful applicant should be adaptable & relish working in a challenging & changing environment.
We are looking for someone who is at ease working in different business areas, and is capable of working both on their own and within a team on a variety of tasks.
Good communication skills are required as the successful applicant will be dealing with a wide spread of stakeholders & individuals across different functions.
