  • Support preparations for audits and inspections in collaboration with the Transport Manager.

Driver & Vehicle Management

  • Allocate and brief drivers daily, ensuring clarity on delivery details and compliance expectations.

  • Act as the first point of contact for drivers regarding issues or operational changes.

  • Maintain driver files including licences, training records, and qualifications.

  • Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, insured, and fully compliant with tax and legal obligations.

Administration & Reporting

  • Generate regular reports on transport performance, including:

    • On-time delivery

    • Fuel usage

    • Compliance metrics

  • Maintain comprehensive and audit-ready transport documentation.

  • Support investigations following incidents, accidents, or compliance breaches.

  • Strong knowledge of DVSA regulations, O-Licence requirements, and driver hours legislation.
