Qualifications

• Good degree of computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of DHL systems (OTM, Paragon, Coupa) and customer systems (SAP, CMMS).
• Previous experience in a freight planning role is essential.

Pay Rate: £36,951.25
Grade: N
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm & 9am to 5.30pm
Location: B24 9HY - Birmingham

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Produce Strategic / Tactical plans through routing systems ensuring optimal solutions are achieved from both a cost and service level perspective
• Significant personal contribution towards optimisation activities that drive cost down solutions without affecting service levels.
• Data Analysis to forecast future and retrospective volumes to assess impact to freight plans.
• To investigate operational challenges & data discrepancies and provide solutions in a timely manner
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the customer and internal colleagues to ensure all targets are met
• Accurate management of network changes and additional / cancelled collections on a daily basis

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• A good degree of computer literacy, with a comprehensive working knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Knowledge of DHL systems specifically OTM / Paragon / Coupa & customer system SAP / CMMS.
• Previous experience in freight planning based role.
