A regional healthcare provider in Doncaster is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant to join the Pharmacy team. This role involves supplying stock medicines and supporting pharmacy operations. Candidates should have GCSEs in Science, English, and Maths, with training provided for those without experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant to join our team within the Logistics section of Pharmacy.
The post will be mainly based at our Pharmacy Department at Doncaster Royal Infirmary but there may also be a requirement to work at the Pharmacy Department on the Bassetlaw Hospital site. Both departments are fully automated.
Candidates must have GCSE qualifications in Science, English Language and Maths at Grade C or above and certificates must be provided prior to interview. Pharmacy experience is desirable for this post but this is not essential as full training would be given.
Applications from candidates who have the BTEC Level 2 / NVQ Level 2 Pharmaceutical Science qualification or equivalent are also eligible to apply for this post. Any candidates applying with these qualifications must provide the certificates prior to interview. They must also still meet the requirements for GCSEs.
International candidates must hold a Statement of Comparability and they must also provide prior to interview. Please note that this position does not support sponsorship.
The working pattern is for 7.5 hours per day on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30am to 5pm with 1 hours unpaid break per day.
Bank Holiday working is on a rota basis and is a full day of 7.5 hours.
