Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy Southminster site on a temporary to permanent basis. You will operate the forklift, move materials, and support production and logistics teams during peak season.

The role requires a valid Counterbalance licence with at least six months' experience, a solid understanding of health and safety, and good written and verbal communication. Overtime applies after 40 hours.

Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Southminster
Start Date: Immediate Start
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Shifts: 12-hour rotating days and nights (7:00am to 7:00pm), including weekends and bank holidays during peak season

Pay: 14 per hour. After 40 hours overtime is paid at time and a half.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy manufacturing site in Southminster. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with forklift experience looking for long-term work with the potential of a permanent position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, finished goods, and bales across the site, helping to keep production and logistics operations running smoothly during the busy harvest season.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence with a minimum of 6 months' experience
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse or logistics environment

• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Basic computer skills
• A flexible, reliable and proactive approach to work

Desirable

• Telehandler or shunter experience (training can be provided)
