Responsibilities

What Will Be Your Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery time, and service.
  • Negotiate orders and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and ensure value for money.
  • Issue purchase orders and monitor inventory levels to ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier improvement.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, invoices, and other important data.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, legal) to ensure clear understanding of procurement needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, evaluate performance, and resolve issues related to quality or delivery.
  • Monitor budgets and support financial planning and reporting.
  • Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or packing lists to ensure accuracy.
  • Unload, sort, and store materials or products in designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with received goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of received shipments in the inventory management system.
  • Prepare and package goods for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Coordinate with carriers or couriers to schedule pickups.
  • Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure they meet quality and order specifications.
  • Generate shipping documents such as packing lists, transport documents and dangerous goods declarations.
  • Perform inventory counts and cycle checks to ensure accuracy in stock levels.
  • Update the inventory system with real-time data on received and shipped items.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of goods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health and safety standards.
Profile And Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse, procurement or shipping/receiving role;
  • Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and documentation;
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment;
  • Dangerous Goods Certification for ADR/IATA will be considered a plus;
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and records;
  • Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in English, with proven fluency at the C2 level;
  • Team player and strong communication skills;
  • Proficiency in inventory and warehouse management systems is a plus.
