Warehouse Operative Job Description

Efficiently perform all warehouse operations including picking, packing, kitting, and delivery to relevant internal customers in line with SLA's and ensuring best practices are met.

• No team management responsibility
• Work within daily SLA and team targets

Principal Accountabilities

1. Picking and issuing materials from stores for internal and external customers, including carrying out relevant transactions in SAP.
2. Goods receiving into the site (direct and indirect), carrying out relevant transactions in SAP.
3. Take and sign for deliveries at Goods In.
4. Execution of Stock Transport Orders between plants with the associated put away of parts, following instructions.
5. Checking stock queries & movements and escalating as needed.
6. Receiving materials into MRO stores.
7. Performing cycle counting activities in line with company guidelines.
8. Physically packing and preparing shipments for dispatch, carrying out system transactions.
9. Participating in improvement activities (e.g., 6S, ISID, EDI) to meet team standards.
10. Carrying out activities in line with EASA requirements.
11. Supporting other logistics tasks as assigned.

Complementary Description

Ensuring accuracy in picking and issuing parts to meet customer requirements. Product integrity and decisions should be fit for purpose and correct. Prioritize work for the day.

Job Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience, aerospace or automotive preferred.
• Experience with warehouse systems, SAP desirable.
• Understanding of warehouse principles, including FIFO.
• Proven ability to deliver improvements in daily work.
• Awareness of HS&E practices in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to interpret technical and regulatory documentation (preferred).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and general computer use.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Ability to operate office equipment like copy machines, label machines, and scales.
• Ability to lift up to 25kg safely.
• Forklift license is desirable or willingness to obtain one.

Evidence of English language proficiency required, either through certification or passing an online SHL English comprehension test during the interview.
