Job Title: Logistics Operator

Location: Tutbury, Derbyshire

Shift pattern: Panama Shift pattern (a mix of days and night shifts, with no weekend working). The shift patterns will be discussed in more detail during the interview stage.

Salary: £40,272.24 (inclusive of shift premium and contractual overtime) + generous pension scheme + 18 bookable days holiday and bank holidays off + other fantastic benefits!

Position Summary

The main purpose of this role is to support the team with the management of materials and finished goods onsite in accordance with Nestlé operational and safety standards. Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Derbyshire is one of the largest Nestlé factories in Europe after a £250 million investment over the last few years. The factory produces several well-known Nescafé products and is the home of Nescafe Dolce Gusto production in the UK.

What you will do / Responsibilities

• Support the team with the management of materials and finished goods onsite in accordance with Nestlé operational and safety standards.
• Operate within a cell team delivering compliance in safety and stock management (with SAP).
• Contribute to maintaining accurate stock records and supporting continuous improvement in logistics processes.

What you need to know

• Must have a valid FLT Counterbalance licence (applicants without this will not be considered).
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Logistics or Warehousing role.
• Ability to work as part of a cell team delivering safety and stock management compliance (with SAP).
• Ability to demonstrate Nestlé competencies and behaviours.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills and knowledge of computer systems including Word, Excel and SAP.
