The Role:
To ensure processes are followed within the warehouse to ensure products are receipted in, stored and despatched to the agreed standards and loading plans whilst keeping our colleagues safe.
On Offer:
The role will involve:
Supply the production departments with raw and packaging materials in order to maintain a continuous production programme
Locate all finished goods from production areas into the Warehouse for storage until despatch
Unload as and when required all incoming vehicles and rack away the materials following acceptance and GRN generation
Pick and assemble loads ready for dispatch. Load outgoing vehicles with finished goods as detailed on the loading despatch paperwork
Work in a safe manner at all times ensuring the safety of myself and colleagues. Follow health and safety policies and procedures at all times and raise any health and safety concerns through the appropriate channels.
Maintain principles of stock rotation through FIFO technique
Ensure FLT fleet is fit for purpose through completing starter documentation and reporting damage to FLTs and plant damage by following the appropriate procedure.
Undertake training and assist with the training of other colleagues when required. Act as a buddy for new colleagues and provide guidance where necessary.
You'll need to:
Have a good standard of education; demonstrates good literacy and numerical skills
Be able to communicate and report clearly in English
Experience in a similar role, working independently with minimum supervision
Have Counter balance / reach truck FLT licence
