Logistics Operative

Salary: £26,500 per annum
Location: Near Uxbridge
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm
Interview Process: One-stage, on-site

We’re currently looking for a Logistics Operative to support day-to-day production by managing tools, materials, and consumables across a busy manufacturing site.

Logistics Operative Responsibilities:
  • Supplying production teams with tools, gauges, fixtures, and consumables
  • Replenishing Kanban stations across various departments
  • Processing tooling and material requests from in-house teams and sub-contractors
  • Receiving and storing goods safely and accurately
  • Logging and protecting items for transit using the ATMS system
  • Assisting with weekly/monthly stock checks, including regrind and calibration items
  • Supporting lean initiatives, 5S audits, and process improvement projects
What we’re looking for:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or engineering stores role
  • Confident handling tools, materials, and using stock/inventory systems
  • A methodical team player with a sharp eye for detail
  • Basic computer skills (Excel & Word)
