Job summary

Humdinger Ltd in Sherburn in Elmet, UK, is seeking a Logistics Operative for permanent full-time roles. The role involves moving materials between warehouse areas, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting inventory control on a 12-hour rotating shift pattern (days and nights). Salary is £13.82 per hour with paid breaks.

Responsibilities

• Move materials accurately between warehouse, production and packing departments.
• Ensure stock is delivered to the correct location at the right time.
• Complete stock checks, PIMA checks and stock investigations.
• Maintain accurate stock records and support inventory control.
• Move finished goods from production lines to dispatch areas.
• Report stock variances, hazards and operational concerns promptly.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Support colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Logistics Operative (Multiple Opportunities Available)

Humdinger Ltd, Sherburn in Elmet, LS25

Position type Permanent Full-Time

Breaks 3 x 20 minutes paid

Pay range £13.82 per hour

Shift pattern 12-hour rotating shifts (days 6am-6pm & nights 6pm-6am) with NO Friday night, Saturday day, Saturday night or Sunday day shift working.

• Week 1 3 day shifts, followed by 2 days off
• Week 2 3 night shifts, followed by 5 days off
• Week 3 2 day shifts + 2 night shifts, followed by 5 days off, then repeat

Closing date 11/09/2026

Desirable

• FLT licence (Counterbalance, Reach, Flexi, PPT or equivalent).
• FMCG manufacturing experience.
• 224 hours holiday entitlement.
