Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Logistics Operative to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Role Summary: Responsible for logistics tasks including goods-in, materials handling, warehousing, storing, packing, and distribution. Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and improve process efficiency. Support internal departments and external customers with logistics needs, ensuring professional and timely service.
  2. What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Perform logistics duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Client Services Manager.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance for yourself and others.
  • Prepare and complete documentation, follow operational procedures and ERP processes.
  • Maintain flexibility to work across all logistics areas as needed.
  • Uphold 6S standards, keeping the workspace tidy and organized.
  • Utilize lean methodologies to optimize logistics processes.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001).
  • Self-analyze performance and implement improvements.
  • Complete documentation timely and accurately.
  • Adhere to quality controls and support root cause analysis as needed.
  • Report near misses and support safety and process improvements.

Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in logistics, including materials handling, packing, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Effective communication skills across diverse groups.
  • Motivated, flexible, and proactive attitude.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Familiarity with IT tools, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Experience in investigations of non-conformance and root cause analysis.
