Job description

Reds10 is an award-winning, off-site construction specialist based at our large manufacturing facility in Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire.

We are looking for an FLT Operative to join us working with a dynamic team. This is a permanent role working 5 days a week Monday to Friday. You''ll need your own transport as there is limited public transport.

Hourly rate is £16.80 and we are looking for you to hold all or some of these qualfications and skills -

  • Banksman
  • FLT tickets
  • Combi Tickets
  • Gantry Tickets
  • Slinger / signaller

Main purpose of the role/Key objectives

To assist with the production and assembly of construction components in our factory facilities, using a Fork Lift Truck (FLT) to transport materials and components around the facility.

Accountabilities

Safe operation of an FLT to transport materials around the facility

Assistance with the production and assembly of construction components in our factory facility

Maintenance of a clean and organised work environment

Adherence to safety protocols and procedures

Ensure daily production targets are met

Ensure any quality or safety issue is reported appropriately

Roles and responsibilities

Safely operate an FLT, including loading and unloading materials and organising them in the storage area

Assist with production including tasks such as cutting, drilling and sanding materials

Operate various tool and equipment as required

Assist with the loading and unloading of materials

Keep work areas and machinery clean and organised

Meet daily production targets as assigned by the Supervisor/Factory Manager

Key skills

Experience driving an FLT in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Able to establish and maintain good working relationships

Copes well in a high-paced industry, multi-tasking skills necessary

Professional, with an excellent understanding of, and respect for, health and safety requirements

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Good physical fitness and manual dexterity

Ability to work collaboratively within a team
