Job description

Hours per week: 40 hours, Sunday-Thursday, 2pm-10pm

Main Duties: Contribute to the effective running of Cormar’s Warehouse pick, pack and loading operation. Daily duties include FLT boom operation, operating cutting and packing machinery, RF gun operation, stock movements / stock-takes, and other duties as directed by Team Leader and Line Manager.

Job Involves: Some mobility, occasional lifting of moderate weights

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to achievement of organisation and department goals through completion of daily duties to required standards
  • Ensure product quality is to required standards
  • Flexibly cover the team and other duties as required
  • Maintain agreed housekeeping standards
  • Participate in and make a positive contribution to improvement teams

  • Demonstrate attitudes and behaviours that positively contribute to the team, department, and company
  • Be responsible for the Health and Safety of yourself and other operatives by adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act
  • Report any accidents or damage
  • Contribute to company improvement initiatives (e.g., MSQ surveys, culture surveys)
  • Understand how your role impacts the organisation and department objectives
  • Support Team Leader to deliver the above objectives

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Previous FLT experience is essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively within the team and the wider organisation
  • Knowledge of how the department works and how it fits in with the rest of the organisation
  • Ability to work to agreed deadlines
  • IT and administration skills commensurate with effectively fulfilling the role
