Job summary

Trescal UK is seeking a motivated Logistics Operative to streamline asset reception, booking in, and movement with national and international couriers. You will ensure accuracy against paperwork, schedule shipments, and support the admin team in resolving logistical issues.

Key tasks include booking assets on EMS, monitoring workflows to meet deadlines, handling queries, packing for deliveries, and operating a company vehicle when required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs level 4 or higher (or equivalent); numeracy and literacy essential.
• Computer literacy.
• Driving licence required.
• Flexible and highly motivated; able to work independently.
• Ability to manage own workload and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Booking customer’s assets onto the EMS.
• Be an integral part of the team managing the workflow to meet customer deadlines.
• Dealing with internal and external queries.
• Unpacking and checking deliveries against delivery paperwork and/or purchase orders.
• Schedule and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• The safe & effective packing of assets for third party deliveries.
• Operate company vehicle for collections & deliveries as and when required.
• Raising and highlighting any variance between orders and deliveries.
• Supporting the administration team with logistical issues.

Joining our team as a Logistics Operative you will be responsible for receiving and booking in of customers assets, dealing with third party couriers (National & International) including overseeing the movement of incoming and outgoing goods. You will ensure that mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented at all times.

Daily you will be responsible for:

• Booking customer’s assets onto the Company management suite (EMS)
• Be an integral part of the team managing the workflow to meet customer deadlines
• Dealing with Internal & External queries
• Unpacking and checking deliveries against delivery paperwork and/or purchase orders
• Schedule and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery
• The safe & effective packing of assets for third party deliveries
• Operate company vehicle for collections & deliveries as and when required
• Raising and highlighting any variance between orders and deliveries
• Supporting the administration team with logistical issues

• Ideally 5 GCSE’s level 4 or higher or equivalent - essential to be numerate and literate
