Job Description: Logistics Operations Systems Manager (m/f/x)

As a Logistics Operations Systems Manager for the EMEA Logistics Operation, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. You will make an impact by delivering system-oriented improvements and partnering with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Optimizing TMS configurations to enhance consignment efficiency and reduce freight costs.
  • Establishing and maintaining EDI connections between the H&S System and 3PL platforms to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Conducting system audits and promoting best practice sharing to drive continuous improvement.
  • Managing enhancement requests from 3PLs and reship HUBs, and implementing system changes in collaboration with systems suppliers.
  • Leading the rollout and integration of new H&S System HUBs across EMEA.
  • Training 3PLs and reship HUBs on the technical specifications and operational use of the H&S System.
  • Overseeing the deployment and performance of the H&S System across the European HUB network.
  • Partnering with the regional transportation team to improve the distribution network through system-driven insights and capabilities.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in the deployment and maintenance of transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally and translate customer needs into system-based logistics strategies.
  • Deep understanding of logistics systems and processes, including experience with the H&S System and SAP TMS.
  • Ability to work effectively within a virtual, international team across multiple countries and regions.
Nice-to-have / Preferred qualifications
  • Experience leading the implementation and management of transportation systems such as the H&S System and SAP TMS.
  • Expertise in optimizing transport processes including line haul, parcel, HUB operations, last mile delivery, and consolidation through system enhancements.
  • Ability to streamline system landscapes and processes in coordination with HUB operations, transportation, and IT teams.
  • Collaboration with Customer Service Operations and Business teams on regional service improvement initiatives.

  • Work location: This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four days a week at a 3M office in either:
  • Lisbon - Portugal
  • Rugby or Bracknell - UK
  • Rivas - Spain
  • Brussels - Belgium
  • Wroclaw - Poland
  • Travel expectations - Includes up to 20% domestic/international travel
  • Working pattern - Full time
