Job summary

Rapier is recruiting a Transport Office Clerk to join a global logistics leader at Castle Bromwich. The role offers 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts and a competitive annual salary of £34,403.20 (£16.54 per hour). This agency position may become permanent.

You will welcome drivers, manage paperwork, track vehicles, plan routes, perform data entry, and support driver relations, with basic IT skills required. Local residency or own transport advised.

Qualifications

• Transport industry experience or similar (preferred).
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Strong work ethic and solid work history.
• Flexible and proactive attitude.
• Own transport or local residency.

Responsibilities

• Welcome drivers, issue keys and paperwork.
• Track vehicles and report delays or issues.
• Communicate with drivers and check load details.
• Route planning and adjustments.
• End-of-shift debrief and paperwork collection.
• Data entry and driver management.
• Download driver digicards and manage infringements.
• Handle driver queries and other duties as required.
