We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as Logistics Manager CLS (Black Hat) - Nights at Hinkley Point C.

As a Logistics Manager in the Construction Logistics space, you will play a key role in conflict escalation to various stakeholders for prompt resolution. You will interface and plan with Construction Building Managers, reviewing and implementing SOPs, ensuring organisational structure relevance, and that Chargehands are fulfilling their duties effectively. You will ensure your teams are correctly deployed, daily tasks are communicated, and safety and quality protocols are followed. You will also ensure the availability of necessary equipment and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Supporting the Senior Logistics Manager, you will help maintain KPIs, safe systems of work, DABs, and daily notes.

Please note: This role involves varied working days, including 4 days of 12-hour night shifts followed by 4 days off, then 5 days of 12-hour shifts followed by 5 days off. Working hours are from 1800 to 0600.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous Supervisory Experience
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
  • CITB certificate (Managers and Professional standards)
  • Excellent IT/MS Office skills

  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills

Site Specific Information:

  • Ability to provide a 3-year work/unemployment/education history for vetting in line with HPC protocols
  • Ability to obtain HPC pass
  • Remote site location requiring a 45-minute bus journey each way
