MAINSAIL Group is seeking a Logistics Manager to join our team at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days on-site per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee logistics management operations, including planning, coordinating, and evaluating logistical actions to support specific missions, weapons systems, or programs. This involves identifying requirements for resources such as money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services, and ensuring support is provided timely and effectively.
Logistics work requires:
- Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning during each phase.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project.
- Extensive experience with defense acquisition management processes per DoD 5000.
- Understanding of the DoD’s integrated product support structure.
- Familiarity with PS-BCA and LCSP processes.
- Experience in conducting Logistics Health Assessments (LHA).
- Knowledge of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook.
- Understanding of policies related to government furnished equipment (GFE) and inventory management.
- Leadership skills for managing complex projects.
- Knowledge of program planning, funding, and management systems.
- Broad understanding of logistical support functions.
- Ability to coordinate efforts of specialists and develop effective plans.
- The key qualification is the ability to integrate various functions in logistics planning and implementation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
- Secret security clearance required.
