Job summary

Legendre Immobilier in Guernsey is seeking a proactive Logistics Manager to lead and optimise site logistics throughout the project lifecycle. You will ensure materials, equipment and personnel move efficiently and safely, coordinating with production and procurement teams on a daily basis.

The role requires overseeing on-site operations, managing safety routes and emergency plans, and acting as the central liaison with suppliers, subcontractors and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the logistics plan for the site in coordination with the Production (Project Lead and Package Managers) and Procurement teams
• Manage all site logistics operations: deliveries, material handling, waste management, temporary works, traffic management and plant movement
• Supervise operatives on site such as Traffic Marshall, Delivery Coordinators, Forklift drivers and any other roles
• Act as the point of contact between site teams, suppliers, subcontractors, local authorities and third-party logistics providers
• Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, permits, and site logistics
• Support management of emergency access routes, fire safety routes and evacuation plans
• Manage customs clearance for materials and equipment imported from outside the Island
