Job description

Make a real impact on customer experience, operational excellence and business performance.

At ACO Technologies plc., we're looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking leader to take ownership of our warehousing and logistics operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on improving processes, leading teams and delivering outstanding service.

You may already be working as a Logistics Manager, Distribution Manager, Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager, Supply Chain Manager or in a similar leadership role. Equally, we would welcome applications from ambitious operational leaders who have demonstrable experience managing teams, driving change and improving performance within a manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain or distribution environment.

This is a key leadership role where you'll influence customer experience, operational efficiency, health and safety performance, technology adoption and continuous improvement across our logistics function.

What you'll do

As Logistics Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operation of our warehouse, inventory and transport activities, ensuring products are stored, managed and delivered safely, accurately and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a high-performing logistics and warehouse team.
  • Driving excellent customer service through on-time delivery and order accuracy.
  • Managing inbound and outbound logistics activities and transport provider relationships.
  • Using operational data and KPIs to identify opportunities and improve performance.
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service, efficiency, safety and cost effectiveness.
  • Championing our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and driving adoption of technology-enabled improvements.
  • Creating a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Optimising warehouse layouts, inventory management, stock accuracy and operational processes.
  • Building strong relationships across Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and other key stakeholders.
About you

We're interested in people who combine strong operational leadership with a passion for developing teams and making things better. You could come from a variety of backgrounds, including: Logistics, Warehousing, Distribution, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, Fulfilment, Inventory Management, Customer Operations or Continuous Improvement. You'll ideally bring:

  • Experience leading operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • A track record of improving performance, service levels or operational efficiency.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching and team development skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capability.
  • Experience using operational data and KPIs to drive decision making.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A customer-focused mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • A commitment to health, safety and operational excellence.

Not currently a Logistics Manager? We'd still like to hear from you.

If you've led operational teams, driven process improvements, implemented new systems, managed customer service performance or delivered change within a manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain or operations environment, this could be the next exciting step in your career. We value transferable leadership capability, problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement as much as direct job title experience.

We offer

At ACO, we are ambitious, collaborative and original in everything we do. You'll join a business that values honesty, integrity and respect, while providing the opportunity to influence strategy, develop teams and make a meaningful impact on business performance.

We offer a collaborative and inclusive work environment, extensive training, opportunities for career progression and a competitive benefits package, which includes:

  • Competitive salaries
  • Private Health Care
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 28 days with service
  • Personal pension schemes with high employer contributions
  • Employee Assistance Programmes

Full details of the job role are available in the role description attached.
