Logistics Operations Manager – 3PL Focus

Remote | £50,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance3 Days On-Site | Regular Travel to Northampton and some travel to Hereford Head Office

We’re hiring a Logistics Operations Manager to lead the transition and ongoing management of our 3PL operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a self-sufficient environment and is passionate about driving logistics performance.

Key Responsibilities

• 3PL Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, stock control, and issue resolution at the 3PL site.
• Order Processing & Transport Coordination: Ensure smooth order flow and book transport as needed.
• Quality & Stock Checks: Conduct regular on-site audits and maintain high standards of accuracy.
• Contract Oversight: Negotiate rates, manage contract amendments, and drive KPI performance.
• Team Collaboration: Be highly available to the Hereford-based team, with training and bi-weekly visits (expenses covered).

Location & Working Style

• Remote role with weekly site visits based in Northampton
• You’ll work independently from home or on-site, so self-sufficiency is key.
• Initial training in Hereford for a few weeks, followed by visits every other week.
