Overview

Logistics Manager

North West

An opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Manager to join the team at Galliford Try.

Ideally, you will be based in or around the Wigan / Manchester area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the North West of this Region.

Responsibilities
  • Traffic Management around the Project
  • Control of all Site Deliveries
  • Control of Hoardings / Heras Fencing and pedestrian barriers
  • Controls plant movement around the project
  • Ensures site directional signage is in place on the roads leading to the Project
  • Is responsible for all daily and weekly plant returns
  • Radio Communication
  • Reporting to GT Site Project Manager
  • Manage Gatemen
  • Monitor Site Lighting
  • Waste Management
About You
  • Previous experience of working with a Main Contractors in a Logistics Manager Role would be an advantage.
