We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedLogistics Manager Mobile plant to lead, direct, and manage our operational mobile plant logistics team. This role is critical in ensuring the highest standards ofhealth & safety,environmental compliance, andoperational efficiencyacross our logistics functions.

Health & Safety
  • Champion a culture of safety in line with Heidelberg Materials’ Health and Safety Plan
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety

Environmental

  • Ensure operations align with our Environmental Management Plan
  • Lead initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve sustainability

Compliance

  • Guarantee adherence to all statutory legislation and internal company regulations

Operational Excellence

  • Achieve optimal production levels at the lowest operational cost
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

Logistics & Distribution

  • Collaborate with logistics teams to deliver high customer service levels efficiently

Quality Assurance

  • Partner with technical teams to maintain top-tier product quality
  • Lead quality control for rail, transport, and stockpiles
  • Investigate and resolve quality complaints through Root Cause Analysis

Business Analysis

  • Work with the Area Operations Manager to ensure accurate and actionable logistics data
  • Support profit-enhancing initiatives through data-driven decision-making

Resource Planning

  • Ensure teams are well-resourced, trained, and equipped to meet business goals

Team Leadership

  • Provide clear direction and foster a culture of development and accountability

Operational Control

  • Implement robust controls across safety, environmental, capital expenditure, and revenue

Collaboration

  • Foster a “One Team” culture by working closely with all departments

Education/Qualification

  • Higher level either vocational or educational
  • Minimum 5 years relevant operational experience
  • NVQ Level 4 in SHE quarry operations
