Job description

Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing logistics and supply chain solutions provider, serving clients across a range of industries. They are seeking an experienced and highly organised Logistics Manager with strong expertise in road, sea, and air freight operations to oversee and optimize their global logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end logistics operations across road, sea, and air freight channels.

  • Develop and implement efficient shipping and distribution strategies to meet business goals and customer expectations.

  • Oversee relationships with freight carriers, customs agents, and third-party logistics providers.

  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and transport legislation.

  • Monitor and manage logistics budgets, negotiate freight contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Lead a team of logistics coordinators, providing training, support, and performance management.

  • Track shipments, resolve delays or disruptions, and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documentation, and freight invoices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in a logistics management role, specifically handling road, sea, and air freight.

  • Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective negotiation and communication abilities.

  • Familiarity with logistics software and transportation management systems (TMS).

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or international trade are preferred.
