Job description

IBP Recruitment are currently recruiting for Logistics Lead based in Crawley. We are looking for a reliable and hands-on individual to support the depots in East Grinstead, Crawley, and Gillingham. This role is varied and practical, with responsibilities covering stock control, depot safety, and operational support. You ll work closely with the teams, ensuring everything runs smoothly, issues are dealt with quickly, and high standards are always maintained.

The ideal candidate must possess the following skills and experience:

  • Managing stock: receiving, issuing, and keeping accurate records
  • Carrying out regular stock checks in depots and with third-party suppliers
  • Working with our Plant & Fleet team to maintain compliance and safety standards
  • Training colleagues where required
  • Maintaining a tidy and safe depot environment
  • Confidently working independently and making decisions when needed
  • Building strong working relationships across the business
  • Providing flexible support including occasional travel between depots or late shifts

The ideal candidate must possess the following skills and experience:

  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety practices
  • Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
  • Clear communication and strong listening skills
  • Organised, tidy, and proactive approach to work
  • A focus on delivering excellent service every day
  • Clean driving licence
