Position Overview:

Elevation Recruitment is partnering with Takis, a subsidiary of Grupo Bimbo. Grupo Bimbo is a multinational baking company with over 100,000 employees across 35 countries. The Logistics Lead will report to the EMEA team, working closely with the UK Head of Supply Chain, overseeing logistics operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods and materials.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage transportation logistics, inbound and outbound, for timely delivery
• Lead daily logistics operations, including inventory, warehousing, transportation, and supplier coordination
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve challenges and streamline processes
• Manage third-party logistics providers, including performance and contract negotiations
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement using data and systems

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ experience in logistics, preferably in a leadership role
• Experience with import/export freight management
• Knowledge of customs requirements and Incoterms
• Understanding of supply chain principles in warehouse and distribution
• Familiarity with logistics systems (WMS/TMS) and data interpretation
• Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills, with experience managing suppliers and teams

Bonus: Experience in FMCG or knowledge of sustainability and environmental regulations in logistics.
