British American Tobacco UK - Logistics Fulfilment Executive UK&I, London, Chiswick
The role involves overseeing logistics operations, including order processing, inventory control, and cost management. It requires collaboration with internal teams and external 3PL providers to ensure efficient delivery. Key focus areas include process optimization, cost management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inbound order management: Coordinate inbound shipments into the 3PL warehouse, aligning with carriers and supply chain teams.
- Order Processing Management: Oversee end-to-end order processing, ensuring SLA adherence and resolving discrepancies.
- Capacity Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with commercial teams to align marketing initiatives with warehouse capacity.
- Cost Analysis and Control: Manage invoices from 3PL providers, identify savings, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Inventory and Packaging Oversight: Supervise procurement of packaging supplies and coordinate repack activities.
- System Integration and Project Management: Lead system integration projects to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
- Compliance and Audit Support: Provide data for audits, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Stock Control and Destruction Management: Oversee stock counts, manage disposal of obsolete stock, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Transport Management Systems: Manage load plans for deliveries, aligning with customer and 3PL schedules.
Qualifications:
- Business-related degree or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG
- Experience managing logistics with 3PL providers
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems like SAP, D365, or SNAP
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and optimization
- Cost analysis and savings implementation experience
- Strong analytical skills and data reporting proficiency
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and improve processes
- Expertise in inventory management
- Digital skills and experience with BI tools are a plus
