dSb Recruitment Consultancy Ltd. is seeking a Freight & Logistics Manager to oversee inbound freight, shipping, imports, and supplier relationships in a fast-paced product environment.

The role involves hands-on management and close collaboration with the Director and external partners to optimize the supply chain. The ideal candidate will have shipping/freight experience in a product/retail setting, strong Excel skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping / freight experience within a product/retail environment.
• Knowledge of import and shipping documentation and INCO terms.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine interest in improving processes.
• Strong Excel and wider MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the planning and management of inbound freight operations.
• Coordinating shipments and working closely with freight forwarders.
• Managing shipping schedules, arrival dates and container bookings.
• Monitoring suppliers and carriers against KPIs.
• Reviewing routing, shipping modes, volumes and carriers to identify efficiencies.
• Resolving transportation, import and supplier issues.
• Ensuring shipping and import documentation is accurate and compliant.

Are you an experienced Shipping / Freight / Logistics professional looking for your next opportunity within a fast-paced product environment?

dSb are currently recruiting for a Freight & Logistics Manager to support the efficient operation of the Supply Chain, working closely with the Director and a range of internal and external stakeholders.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for inbound freight, shipping, imports, freight forwarders and supplier relationships, negotiating with vessel bookings from Egypt and Vietnam

What will you be doing?

• Supporting the planning and management of inbound freight operations

• Managing shipping schedules, arrival dates and container bookings
• Monitoring suppliers and carriers against KPIs
• Reviewing routing, shipping modes, volumes and carriers to identify efficiencies

You’ll ideally have:
