Job summary

Grundon Waste Management Ltd is seeking a Logistics Business Analyst to join the Operations team in Beenham on a 12-month FTC. The role focuses on analysing business processes, performance data, and operational trends to identify efficiency gains, cost savings, and improved service delivery.

You will collaborate with IT and other analysts to deliver data-driven insights and practical improvements. Reporting to the General Manager, you will help develop dashboards and tools, support budgeting and

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years in business analysis or process improvement.
Experience in Waste Management or Logistics is desirable.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and process-mapping techniques.
Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Organisational skills to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions, reports, and system improvements.
Review operational data and trends to provide actionable insights.
Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, including route optimisation and cost control.
Act as a bridge between business teams and IT, communicating requirements and progress.
Develop and maintain dashboards, forecasts and analytical tools for planning and performance.
Support budget planning, pricing reviews and scenario modelling.
Monitor KPIs across logistics operations and benchmark performance.
