The Role

Our logistics department supports the business by managing the flow of our products from suppliers to customers. We operate a global network of consolidation and distribution centres, requiring strong leadership and relationships with international 3PL and freight partners.

As a Commercial & Planning Data Analyst, you will support the Senior Logistics team in logistics operations, budget forecasting, and reporting. You will analyze data from logistics and finance systems to provide insights for contract negotiations and business improvements. The role also involves managing carrier/upstream and operational reporting. The ideal candidate is data literate, has a continuous improvement mindset, and can produce detailed financial and operational reports across contracts, carriers, and warehousing activities.

You Will

• Design and develop BI dashboards, preferably using SQL.
• Review logistics data sources to ensure data integrity.
• Manage financial activities related to logistics tenders.
• Analyze carriage spend globally and support budget/forecasting activities.
• Create operational reports per channel/DC.
• Support negotiations with carriers and suppliers.
• Provide data sets for business tenders and cost-benefit analyses.
• Participate in rate reviews and expenditure reporting.
• Own carrier reporting and conduct volume analysis.
• Perform data profiling to identify anomalies.
• Maintain the 'cost to serve' model and benchmarking platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure operational effectiveness.
• Develop personal competence to meet team and business objectives.

You Are

• Experienced in a commercial or planning role within logistics.
• Commercially astute with financial and data modeling skills.
• Proficient in IT systems, especially Excel; BI tools, SQL, and ML knowledge are a plus.
• Autonomous with strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, logical, and a problem solver.
