Job description

About the Role

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the efficient movement of stock between international and domestic suppliers and all 3PLs across UK, Europe and the USA, as well as coordinating shipments from 3PL to retailer distribution centres.

The role supports the end-to-end supply chain, focusing on shipment visibility, liaising between warehouses and freight forwarders, stock allocation, replenishment planning and maintaining high standards of outbound delivery performance. The role aims to maximise stock availability, reduce delays and support the seamless movement of goods across the Bleach London supply chain.

About Bleach

Bleach London is the brainchild of renowned fashion hairstylist Alex Brownsell, who pioneered the twenty-first-century home hair colour revolution. She turned bleaching and dyeing friends' hair at home into the world’s first salon focused on colouring rather than cutting. Ten years, four locations and a ground-breaking product range later, Bleach London now ships an ever-evolving selection of home bleaches, toners, colour and care products all over the world.

All formulas are vegan and cruelty-free and come with expert instructions that allow consumers to bleach and dye like a professional in no time.

The company is a leading hair care provider, and is sold in retailers including Boots, Superdrug, The Hut Group, ASOS and Amazon, as well as Walmart, CVS and Kroger in the US.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Arrange export paperwork and liaise with freight forwarders and carriers to make sure shipments are costed, approved and collected in a timely manner and in line with expectations of the Head of Supply Chain.
  • Maintain tracking of all in transit shipments calling out risks and delays to the wider operations team.
  • Coordinate inbound supply chain operations to ensure products are imported, received, and processed efficiently into all 3PL locations.
  • Provide operational visibility and analytical support to improve supply chain performance, decision-making, and stock control.
  • Coordinate 3PL order processing and dispatch to all retailers across the Bleach London 3PL network. Making sure we are always providing the highest level of delivery standards to our customers.
  • Maintain ERP systems across all locations supporting Operations Administrators to achieve accurate and up to date systems data at all times.
  • Support the combined efforts of Operations and Finance in investigating, challenging and recovering charges relating to OTIF and other operations-based deductions.
Experience That Fits This Role
  • Proven experience of 2 years in a similar import/export, retail, distribution, warehouse, or supply chain operations position
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment and support the wider team. Sometimes with tasks not specifically related to your role. But for the greater good of the business.
  • Knowledge of shipping and handling dangerous goods across multiple territories
  • Technically confident and quick to learn new software and platforms.
  • Excellent communicator, confident problem-solver, and highly organised with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Good Excel and reporting skills
