Job summary

Loungers are seeking a hands-on Logistics Coordinator to support our UK sites, delivering and installing furniture, décor, and fixtures for new openings and ongoing operations.

You will travel to sites, assist with loading/unloading, and help transform spaces into Lounges, Cosy Clubs and Brightsides while upholding safety standards and efficient stock movement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deliveries, collections and stock transfers between storage facility, suppliers and Lounge, Cosy Club and Brightside sites across the UK
• Load and unload vehicles safely, handling heavy or bulky items
• Assist with fixtures and fittings installation for new openings
• Promote safe working practices on road, site and storage facility
• Keep storage facility organised and well maintained for easy stock movement
• Support Logistics team with additional tasks as needed

Job description

Loungers are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics team! You’ll be out on the road supporting our sites across the UK; delivering and installing furniture and décor, replacing equipment and helping transform empty spaces into brand-new Lounges, Cosy Clubs, and Brightsides.

This person will be enthusiastic, willing to learn and have high standards and attention to detail. They will thrive off the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity for a very hands on individual to become a part of a great team of people. In this role, you will be supporting our existing Lounge Cafes to deliver or replace furniture and other internal décor equipment. Additionally, you will be an integral part of the fixtures and fittings install for our new openings.

This role will require heavy lifting and you will be expected to work from heights. We have sites across England and Wales so you must be open to staying away from home on occasion. You will ideally live within 45 minutes of Avonmouth.

Getting into the detail

• Coordinate deliveries, collections and stock transfers between our storage facility, suppliers and Lounge, Cosy Club and Brightside sites across the UK.
• Take responsibility for safely loading and unloading vehicles, including regularly handling and moving heavy or bulky items.
• Support new site openings across the UK by installing and positioning pictures, mirrors, furniture and other fixtures and fittings, helping to bring each new space to life.
• Promote and follow safe working practices at all times, whether you are on the road, working at a site or based at our storage facility.
• Help keep our storage facility organised, tidy and well maintained so that stock and equipment can be located and moved efficiently.
• Get stuck into a range of additional tasks as required, supporting the Logistics team wherever help is needed.
