Logistics Coordinator : Time Critical

Redditch Permanent Full:Time

3PL:Warehousing:logistics

On:site, 25 days holiday, plus option to buy 5 more, pension.

In this role, you wont just move shipments : youll keep production lines running, solve problems in real time, and make the impossible happen for customers across the UK and Europe. When every second counts, youll be the one with the answers.

What Youll Be Doing

• Managing urgent shipments for UK and EU transport.
• Quoting, booking, and tracking jobs : keeping customers updated every step of the way.
• Providing multiple transport solutions, from airfreight to hand carry.
• Working with trusted suppliers to source the best options.
• Reviewing routes and suppliers to drive efficiency and profitability.
• Coordinating closely with warehouse, operations, and accounts to deliver a seamless service.

What Youll Bring

• Experience in freight forwarding, ideally within a fast:paced or time:critical environment.
• Knowledge of European transport planning (essential).
• Confidence under pressure and a proactive, problem:solving mindset.
• Strong communication skills with a customer:first approach.
• Ability to juggle priorities, stay organised, and deliver results.
• Computer literacy across MS Office and logistics systems.
• A second language or CPC qualification would be a bonus.

The Details

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for shifts, weekends or travel when required.

Customer and supplier site visits where needed.
