Job description

A fantastic opportunity has come up to a Logistics Coordinator, to work for one of the best distribution machinery packaging companies in the UK. I am looking for an organised and proactive Service Coordinator to support a busy team of 9 engineers. You’ll be the key person managing service orders, scheduling planned maintenance, tracking parts and purchasing, and coordinating cross-functionally to ensure a seamless end-to-end process.

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00PM

Hybrid Working: 1–2 days WFH after training

Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, negotiable pension

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the main point of contact for engineers regarding jobs, parts, and schedules
  • Manage and prioritise service orders, including re-bookings and reactive changes
  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, purchasing, customer service)
  • Ensure planned maintenance is scheduled and followed up correctly
  • Track the movement and availability of parts to avoid delays
  • Maintain accurate records in the system and support service reporting

Essential

  • Proven experience in a coordination or service admin role
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm and manage priorities under pressure
  • Good IT skills – comfortable using service/order management systems
  • Confident working with multiple teams and managing expectations.
