A well-established logistics company in Tonbridge is seeking a Transport & Dispatch Coordinator to drive the outbound logistics in a fast-paced environment. You will lead a team to enhance performance in dispatch, coordinate with hauliers, and support admin development. Ideal candidates will have experience in logistics, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of transport laws. Offers a salary of £35k-£40k with 23 days of holiday plus bank holidays, in a Monday to Friday office role.

Transport & Dispatch Coordinator | Fresh Produce | Kent

We're partnered with a well-established business in Kent who need a hands on Logistics and Dispatch Coordinator to drive the daily outbound logistics. You'll be working with a team of 2 dispatch admins ensuring everything is running smoothly

What you'll be doing:

* Leading the distribution team to drive performance standards and ensure a smooth operation within the dispatch area.

* Liaising with hauliers across multiple clients to coordinate deliveries in accordance with orders to maintain high customer service levels

* Supporting the admin team and adding to their own personal development

* Working with the wider team looking at planning and and focusing on creating a culture of continuous performance

What you'll need:

* Experience in a dispatch, transport or logistics coordination role, ideally within food, FMCG, or fresh produce

* Excellent organisational skills with an ability to manage time-critical operations

* A working knowledge of transport legislation and Health & Safety compliance

* Clear communication and confidence liaising with multiple departments

* Proactive problem-solving and a continuous improvement mindset
