Role

LV Logistics Middlesbrough currently has an opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team on a full time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Organise both groupage and full load trailer movements to & from UK – Scandinavia.
• Work in a demanding office environment and balance conflicting priorities to meet progressive deadlines.
• Negotiate rates with hauliers and arrange collections to meet sailing deadlines.
• Provide competitive quotations in a timely manner.
• Obtain, check and prepare documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements and any packing specifications.
• Create export and import declarations where appropriate.
• Maintain a strong customer focus with the ability to communicate effectively; provide customers with accurate updates and handle queries or complaints with a calm and sympathetic manner.
• Maintain customer and client relationships and ensure an outstanding level of customer service at all times.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks as may be allocated by line or senior manager.
• Ensure compliance with LV HSSQE systems and procedures; promote safety of yourself and others; be aware of trade compliance regulations, multilateral trade regimes, dual use requirements, and know your customer.

• Experience in logistics coordination, UK–Scandinavia operations, and use of relevant documentation and declarations.
