Location: Slough, Berkshire
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break)

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Slough. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment. You’ll coordinate the movement of both internal equipment (assets) and externally hired items between sites and departments, ensuring everything is logged, processed, and delivered efficiently.

Logistics Coordinator Role:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing daily stock movements, including inbound and outbound transfers of hire equipment and internal assets. You’ll ensure logistics processes are followed, systems are accurately updated, and transfers are tracked to meet operational needs.

  • Coordinate internal transfers of assets and externally hired equipment across multiple locations
  • Communicate with stakeholders to plan, schedule, and track equipment movement
  • Maintain accurate records using logistics/inventory systems (e.g., OPTRAX or similar)
  • Resolve transfer issues including delays, damages, or anomalies
  • Support stock accuracy by performing inventory audits and quality control checks
  • Collaborate with warehouse, returns, and shipping teams for smooth operational flow
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures

What They Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience in logistics, warehouse coordination, or equipment handling
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • IT literate – comfortable using inventory or asset management software
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience in equipment hire, media production, or asset logistics
  • Knowledge of OPTRAX, RT Pro, or similar logistics software
  • Reliable and proactive with a problem-solving mindset
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
  • Flexible to support peak workloads and occasional overtime
