Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Aberdeen
Salary: 26,000 - 30,000
Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 9:00- 5:00 Mon - Fri

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient dispatch of goods while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various software applications, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of managing multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties:

  1. Inform customers when orders are ready for collection, providing shipment details
  2. Generate and issue delivery documents, including Commercial Invoices and packing lists
  3. Liaise with shipping companies to ensure efficient deliveries
  4. Use the system for order processing and tracking
  5. Contact customers in various regions and manage customer interactions
  6. Manage certification processes
  7. Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry and record maintenance

Person Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in logistics or coordinator role
  2. Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  3. Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
  4. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and customer-focused approach
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
