Job description

Robertson Recruitment are currently recruiting a logistics coordinatorto join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a permanent position, responsible for supporting all aspects of warehousing, goods in/out, and logistics. The successful candidate will work closely with warehouse and logistics personnel to ensure the smooth flow of daily operations.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday.

08:00am - 17:00pm (early finish on Friday).

Responsibilities

Coordinating daily transport and logistics operations, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery of goods

Communicating effectively with drivers, warehouse teams, and third-party logistics providers

Managing transport bookings, delivery manifests, and all relevant documentation

Monitoring delivery progress and proactively resolving delays or logistical issues

Maintaining regular customer communication on delivery schedules and responding to queries

Ensuring full compliance with transport regulations and internal company policies

Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems and reporting tools

Acting as the first point of contact for customer service queries related to logistics and deliveries

Experience Required

Good knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics best practices

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (working knowledge required; Syteline experience desirable)

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Confident communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to multitask, prioritise work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
