Logistics Co-Ordinator

£25,000 – £30,000 | Milton Keynes | 8:30 – 17:15 Mon–Fri | Permanent

We’re representing a long-established UK manufacturer and exporter with a strong international customer base, recruiting for a skilled Logistics Co-Ordinator to manage a variety of domestic and global shipments. This role involves coordinating the full freight process across road, sea, and air, ensuring operations run efficiently, compliantly, and cost-effectively.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure all freight movements meet strict regulatory standards, including dangerous goods handling requirements.

Key responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate domestic, European, and worldwide shipments (road, sea, air)
  2. Manage customs clearance processes and accurate shipping documentation
  3. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, Incoterms, and DGSA obligations
  4. Negotiate freight rates, monitor costs, and optimise transport routes
  5. Handle dangerous goods (including lithium-ion batteries) in line with safety legislation and MSDS guidelines
  6. Oversee reverse logistics activities and maintain product traceability
  7. Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, cost performance, and documentation accuracy
About you:
  1. Minimum 2 years’ logistics/shipping/supply chain coordination experience
  2. Sound knowledge of international shipping
  3. Familiarity with DGSA requirements and dangerous goods handling
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  5. Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
