Overview

Logistics Coordinator - Imports & Exports

Location: Kingston-upon-Thames

Salary: DOE + Performance Related Bonus + Full Benefits Package

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00 (40 hours), plus weekend rota cover as required

The Role

We're looking for a proactive Logistics Coordinator to join a leading fresh produce business, supporting day-to-day operations across international supply chains. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth product movement by managing import declarations, maintaining customs compliance, and liaising with HMRC and logistics partners.

This role is critical in making sure products arrive on time, duties and declarations are handled correctly, and compliance standards are always met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete import declarations using customs software
  • Maintain compliance across all import/export activity
  • Liaise with HMRC and support audits to ensure successful outcomes
  • Track air, sea, and overland shipments through clearance and onward transport
  • Arrange haulage, collections, couriers, and all supporting documentation
  • Resolve transit-related issues quickly and effectively
What We're Looking For
  • At least 2 years' experience in a logistics, import/export, or supply chain role
  • Strong knowledge of customs processes (experience with customs software is a plus)
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple priorities
  • IT literate with good Excel skills
  • A team player who can also work independently and proactively
