Join a leading logistics provider as a Customer Services Representative in Ipswich. This role is ideal for proactive, detail-oriented professionals passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. You will be the vital link between clients, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring service excellence and customer satisfaction.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across the European network to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee and develop transport operations to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Monitor and respond to the Customer Service mailbox, addressing queries and managing communications.
  • Create and manage client orders with high accuracy, ensuring all data is up-to-date and correct.
  • Maintain and update CRM and TMS systems with rates, quotations, and order templates.
  • Resolve customer queries and operational issues promptly and professionally.
  • Compile and report on KPIs as required to track and improve service performance.
  • Uphold and promote the professional image of the organisation at all times.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £28,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (1-hour unpaid lunch).
  • Annual Leave: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays.
  • Pension: Auto-enrolment after 3 months with a 6% employer contribution and 2% employee contribution.
  • Sick Pay: Statutory Sick Pay for the first 12 months, then Company Sick Pay.
  • Life Assurance: 3x basic annual salary from start date.
