The role of the Transfer and Logistics Coordinator will play a playing a key role within the operations of the company

Duties And Responsibilities For The Logistics Coordinator

  • Coordinate the transfer of equipment between the W. London HQ and various group locations.
  • Work with and action requests from the Management Operations Group to ensure stock availability for transfers.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to arrange transfer schedules between locations.
  • Efficiently manage working area to ensure inbound and outbound transfers are segregated and routed correctly.
  • Ensuring all transfers bookings are correctly entered in the companys system and the Shipping team are provided adequate time and information relating to international transfers.
  • Resolve any internal transfer-related issues, such as delays and damages.
  • Communicate with internal teams to provide updates on transfer status.
  • Own and efficiently control transfer jobs, including generation, closedown and query resolution.
  • Support/cover during periods of absence and peak workload the Returns Coordinator.
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines whilst adhering to the priorities of the business.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies relating to safe loading practices.

Experience/Skills Required

  • Previous experience as a Logistics or Transfer Coordinator
  • Must be IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft office software.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines whilst adhering to the priorities of the business.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with the highest expectations of service and quality.
  • Experience within the equipment hire/rental industry would be an advantage however not essential.
