Responsibilities

Job description

Are you an experienced Logistics Operative looking for a new opportunity? Do you want to work for a growing company that offers flexibility? If so, we are looking for an enthusiastic Logistics Controller who is passionate about delivering great customer service.

Joining our team as a Logistics Controller, you will provide day-to-day administrative support and ensure that mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented at all times.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Booking in/out customer assets using EMS & Indysoft software
  2. Managing workflow to meet customer deadlines
  3. Site pick-up/drop-off
  4. Van runs to Derby, at least once a week
  5. Safe and effective packing of assets for third-party deliveries
  6. Creating shipping notes on company databases (Indysoft & EMS)
  7. Arranging shipping via courier
  8. Reviewing weekly reports on shipped items

Qualifications and skills:

  • At least 5 GCSEs at level 4 or higher or equivalent, with good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Valid driving licence
  • Friendly, customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload
  • Strong communication skills in spoken and written English
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
